Labor Budget Announcement. FRV Fail!

This is the exact reason firefighters gave Commissioner Freeman a 90.85% vote of no confidence.

While firefighter morale is at an all-time low… While trucks are failing daily… While firefighters are being left without the equipment needed to properly protect the community…

Commissioner Freeman secured just 5 trucks and 1 fire boat – falling 135 trucks short of what firefighters say Victoria needs right now.

And don’t worry… he also secured funding worth just 1/20th of what’s needed to replace Eastern Hill.

Firefighters aren’t asking for miracles. They’re asking for leadership. They’re asking for functioning trucks. They’re asking for the fire service levy Victorians pay to actually be spent protecting Victorians
