In 2018, funding of $2.8 million was allocated in the state budget for a proposed fire station to service Armstrong Creek, Victoria, Australia. At the time, land was purchased for the project with the intention of progressing the build.

The project has not yet been delivered, and the original site acquired for the station is now reported to be in the process of being sold. A new parcel of land has since been purchased for the proposed facility.

Despite these steps, construction of the fire station has not commenced, and there is currently no confirmed timeline for completion.

The delays have occurred during a period of continued population growth in the Armstrong Creek area, which has increased demand for local emergency services infrastructure.
