Fire Ops 101

Fire Ops 101 is an initiative by the United Firefighters Union & Fire Rescue Victoria designed for influential Victorians to participate in realistic, simulated firefighting operations to demonstrate the time-critical and highly technical skills of an FRV firefighter.

By experiencing a wide range of activities – including structure fire demonstrations, hazardous material simulations, emergency medical responses, road crash rescue and rope rescue displays – participants gain a better understanding of the resources, equipment and training FRV firefighters need to keep the community safe.

This series of videos represents a pivotal moment in the experience and knowledge acquired of our dedicated attendees. The video’s not only showcase their experience but how the program deepens their understanding of the vital role played by Firefighters who protect lives, property and our communities from the threat of fires.
