Supporting Breastfeeding Firefighters!

Following recognition of a gap in support for our breastfeeding firefighters, the UFU has been actively engaged in developing a policy and guide across Fire Rescue Victoria.

In consultation with the Women’s Support Team, the policy and guidelines will use emerging research in the area of breastfeeding and firefighting, combined with the experience of our breastfeeding firefighters to deliver worlds best practice.

The UFU acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, and we pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

The UFU supports the call of First Nations peoples for a Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.
