Working in windy and wet conditions the members from Geelong City fire station worked to help rescue an Aireys Inlet local and his dog on Wednesday morning.
Turns out the dog belonged to the partner of the guy and it was a fairly new relationship. There was no way he was leaving the dog behind!!
The high angle rescue was done without fuss and showed the high level of skills and the associated training of the team.
A multi agency event which was attended by FRV, Vicpol, AV, CFA and SES with great outcome.
