Wednesday 23 October – Mark the Date “We will show our Strength in Unity”

One year on from the largest rally in this union’s history and we are more committed, more determined, more united than ever. One year on and we are ready to show this minister and this commissioner that we stand together and will not go away.

“We will never back down from our vow to always work to fully protect the community and never recant from the rightful want to ensure Commissioner Gavin Freeman and Minister Jacklyn Symes works only to provide a safe workplace, a properly equipped fire service and reward “all” workers fairly! The only job they are employed to do but to date have not!

This Wednesday we will show our strength in unity

The UFU acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, and we pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

The UFU supports the call of First Nations peoples for a Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.
