he Victorian Community is currently being left at risk, as our Fire Rescue Fleet continues to break down across the State.
A 20year old Truck at East Keilor Station failed to start this morning due to a damaged starter motor.
The station has been advised there are no spare Trucks available, leaving the community of Keilor and surrounds with a single appliance.
This means that in the event of an emergency, Keilor and surrounding communities will be left without adequate Rescue services.
Victoria’s Fire Rescue Fleet is in a state of disrepair. The community is right to ask, why is the State Labor Government failing to invest in an up to date Fleet that is required to keep our growing and diverse population safe?
After all they pay for it via the Fire Services Levy.
