Fire Rescue Victoria’s Rope Rescue Team assisted Victoria Police with a complex rescue in Mount Waverley this afternoon after a vehicle crashed down an embankment.
On arrival, firefighters quickly developed a rescue plan and got to work, safely accessing the person and bringing them back up the embankment before handing them over to Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
A great example of the specialist skills, teamwork and professionalism UFU members bring to the community every day.
Well done to everyone involved in a successful rescue
