This month, A/SSO Tony Martin, SSO Mark Coleman and LFF Chris Dyer will take on the 96km Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea, raising funds for the Zero79 Foundation.

The Zero79 Foundation provides connection, rapid support and growth opportunities to help current and ex-serving Australian Commandos and their families thrive during and beyond service, with a particular focus on supporting the families of the fallen.

As firefighters, we know the value of mateship, resilience and standing beside those who need us. We’d love to see the UFU community get behind Tony, Mark and Chris as they prepare to tackle one of the world’s most demanding treks in support of this important cause.

If you’re in a position to help, please visit www.zero79foundation.com/kokoda-trek-2026.

As Chris is representing the Zero79 Foundation on the trek, we’d encourage the UFU community to get behind our UFU delegates A/SSO Tony ‘Plugger’ Martin &/or SSO Mark Coleman by donating to their fundraising pages.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.

Thank you for getting behind our fellow firefighters, your UFU delegates, and supporting the veteran community.
