For almost seven years, Victoria’s emergency services workers have waited while the cost of living has continued to rise. Families are struggling with the cost of groceries, fuel, mortgages and rent, yet the Allan Government has failed to resolve an industrial dispute that should have been settled years ago.
These are the people who answer the call when Victorians need them most. They protect our communities every day and deserve to be treated with respect. They also deserve a fair pay rise.
Supporting workers means more than words. The Allan Government must end the delay, resolve this dispute, and deliver a fair outcome for the emergency services workers who keep Victoria safe.
Seven years is long enough.
