Staff were told this morning to use 4G/5G where possible. The outage appears to have possibly started last night — and it’s still impacting operations today.
It’s not just day to day internet use it affects. It’s stopping rostering from occurring, with stations unable to access systems to fill vacancies. An emergency service should have redundancies in place — not firefighters working blind.
Victorians deserve better. Firefighters deserve better.
But, Premier Jacinta Allan and Emergency Services Minister Vicki Ward will continue to ignore Victorians and firefighter safety.
