Last Saturday, UFU Corporate, Technical and Administrative (CTA) members took a stand — holding a silent protest against Fire Rescue Victoria’s Executive.
For more than five months, FRV Deputy Secretary Tony Matthews has ignored CTA workers’ latest bargaining offer. That silence has left these workers underpaid, undervalued and disrespected.
CTA members are essential to Victoria’s fire services. They ensure critical systems function, resources are available, and firefighters are properly supported to protect the community. Without CTA workers, the fire service cannot operate safely or effectively.
The UFU will always stand up for essential workers and demand respect, fairness and accountability.
