UFU Members Help FBU in the War Against PFAS in the UK – Read the Story – Watch the Video

UFU Victorian Branch’s Mick Tisbury and Branch President David Hamilton recently travelled to the UK to share their world-leading research on PFAS — the harmful chemicals once found in firefighting foams — and the importance of presumptive legislation for firefighter cancers.

These are tough conversations, but absolutely vital ones. Their work is helping fire services across the world better understand and address the long-term health risks firefighters face.
