UFU Members – Excellence in Emergency Medical Response

This morning, firefighters at Fire Station 70 Warrnambool responded to an Emergency Medical Response (EMR) call alongside Ambulance Victoria.

After stabilising the patient, it became clear that the stairwell and elevator couldn’t safely accommodate the stretcher. So once again, UFU members stepped up, this time calling in the Pumper Platform to safely extricate the patient from the first floor to ground level.

This is just one of countless examples of the vital work UFU members do every day—providing lifesaving medical support and operating heavy rescue capable equipment to help protect the community.
