Solidarity in Action – Thank You to Our UFU Corporate Staff!

Today’s action at the recruit course graduation sent a powerful and united message to the Fire Rescue Commissioner and his Executive Leadership Team: UFU members—across all areas of FRV—are fed up with being ignored, disrespected, and taken for granted.

We want to extend a huge thank you and congratulations to our UFU corporate staff members for their strength, unity, and professionalism in standing together to highlight the frustration shared by so many. Your actions today were seen and heard loud and clear.

This is what solidarity looks like. This is how we show that we will not accept the ongoing mistreatment of workers or the inaction of an ELT that continues to fail its workforce.

To our corporate members: your courage today strengthens the entire Union.

To the ELT: your workforce is watching, and we are united.

Strength in Unity.

The UFU acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, and we pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

The UFU supports the call of First Nations peoples for a Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.
