Eligibility

Full Membership of the United Firefighters Union is open to all Firefighters and Officers employed professionally throughout the state of Victoria. Membership also consists of a broad range of people employed throughout the firefighting and related industries across Victoria.

Associate Membership is also available at a reduced cost, the benefits of this type of membership, except voting rights, are currently enjoyed by such people as unpaid firefighters.

The Full Membership Form is also available as a pdf for printing on this site. Once completed, they should be lodged with the UFU office for processing at the next available Branch Committee of Management Meeting.

Once approved membership is gained to the federally registered United Firefighters Union of Australia and the United Firefighters Union – Victoria Branch.
