FRV Undermining Protected Industrial Action

Fire Rescue Victoria says it “supports” Protected Industrial Action by UFU members.

But actions speak louder than emails.

Across the state, Corporate, Tech and Admin members are proudly exercising their legally protected rights — putting up banners and placards on stations and fire trucks as part of the UFU’s campaign for fair pay and respect.

Now we’re hearing FRV is trying to remove these campaign materials.

You can’t claim to support workers’ rights while actively undermining them.

The UFU acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, and we pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

The UFU supports the call of First Nations peoples for a Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.
