Fire Rescue Victoria/UFU Members answer the call to assist in the fight against the Grampians fire.

On Friday, December 20th, 5 Pumper Tankers and their crew of firefighters from Fire Rescue Victoria answered the call to assist in the fight against the Grampians fire.

It’s common to think that FRV only tackles house fires, but our UFU members are highly trained to combat wildfires across the entire state. They are ready to respond whenever and wherever Victorians need them.

The UFU urges everyone to follow emergency warnings and stay safe. To our members and all emergency services on the front lines, we offer our unwavering support and deepest appreciation for your tireless efforts.

The UFU acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, and we pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

The UFU supports the call of First Nations peoples for a Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.
