Big thanks to Ellen Sandell MP for joining our members at the Fire Ops 101 program this week and taking the time to understand the work our firefighters do on the ground.

From turning out to emergencies to standing up for cancer presumptive rights and safer trucks, your continued support has made a real difference for firefighters across Victoria.

But as Ellen Sandell MP rightly said – there’s still more to do!

The fight for safe crew levels, up to date fire trucks, and fair conditions is ongoing. We appreciate your voice in Parliament and look forward to continuing the fight together.

The UFU supports the call of First Nations peoples for a Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.
